Just over 100 kilometres north of the city of Adelaide and situated 3 kilometres east of the lower north township of Balaklava - on the Golf Course Rd is South Australia's best kept secrets - the Balaklava Golf Club.

The golf club offers an all year round fully watered 18 hole 5,987 metre championship golf course, which boasts outstanding fairways and manicured greens amongst undulating sand hills.

For the past 30 years, the course has been continually developed to its present high standard and is professionally designed to be a challenge to all golfers.

The greens and fairways of the course are serviced by an onsite water bore.

Over the years, hundred of trees have been planted to enhance the course's natural beauty and are home to many species of birdlife which complement a relaxing day of golf.

The Balaklava Golf Club has been a colourful and integral part of the community since 1923.

It takes its place among the other sporting attractions i.e. Balaklava Racing Club, Gliding Club and Pistol Shooting Range which are recognised throughout the State for their top class facilities.
